Nice geometric art deco mid-century design on the metal handle. Very clean. It measures approximately 8 across. They have a gold wash which is mostly still intact. Quite heavy to support a good amount of books. They were produced. Both pieces are signed G. Two elegant vintage bronze bookends feature majestic caribou, standing on a mound that is marked Newfoundland on the bottom, dating to about the s or s.

This wonderful pair has a dark patina with just a hint of shine I haven’t tried to polish them ; they’d be perfect on a bookshelf or desk for a rustic cabin look.
